In order to sustain good cooperation, we decided to implement delays and claims targets. We believe that clear and straightforward goals will give you a better understanding of our cooperation’s needs and will allow you to manage your part of our cooperation successfully. This is necessary to assure further growth of our work together as well as growth of Xometry’s business.
All limits and bonuses depend on the rating in our system (you will find more about the rating here). Every quarter we send an email with your rating, but you can check it yourself in your Xometry account.
It is very important that you keep track of your rating, because we plan to limit partners with bad results and encourage the good ones.
I. Limiting mechanism
The limiting mechanism will work as below.
- We will take your current delays ratio and compare it with your target using the following formula: your target delays ratio / your actual delays ratio x 100%
Example
Goal delays ratio - 20%
Actual - 40%
So
L = 20 / 40 * 100% = 50%
Where L - limiting factor
- We will take the result (in example 50%) and we will use it to calculate the limit for the value of your orders for next quarter. To do it, we will use the value of the order that you have produced in the current quarter and the limiting factor using the following formula
Vn = Vc * L
Where
Vn - Limit of the orders value for next quarter
Vc - Value of the orders in current quarter
L - limiting factor
Example:
L=50% (as in the previous example).
Value of the orders that you have produced in current quarter = €10 000
Vn = €10 000 * 50% = 5000€
Overall limit for the value of your orders in the next quarter = 5000€, because in the current quarter you have produced orders with a total value of €10 000 and your limiting factor is 50%.
Important: If your actual delays ratio in the next quarter will be lower than your target, the limit won’t be applied.
That means that if for example your delays' ratio is 15% and your target is 20% there will be no limit on your account as long as you don’t exceed your delays targets.
- We will use exactly the same mechanism for your claims ratio, and we will use the limiting factor L of whichever is greater (claims or delays).
Example
Your L from delays is 40%
Your L from claims is 30%
In this situation your L from delays is greater, and we will use it in limit mechanism.
II. Bonus plan
We also want to reward the most improving partners.
That’s why we decided to pay bonus to partners who have improved the most.
We will pay you 30% bonus of total value of your orders at the end of the quarter but not more than €2500, if:
- You produced at least €10 000 worth of orders
- You are in top 10 most improved partners
We will rank top partners using the following formula:
Previous quarter delays ratio / current quarter delays ratio
Top10 partners with the highest value will be eligible for the bonus.
III. Fast payment
You can get paid for your order the next business day after your order is shipped.
Requirements you need to meet in order to be eligible for fast payment:
- Your status is probation or trusted
- Produce all parts in the PO and create shipping in My Orders minimum 1 day before the Lead Time
- Upload the invoice right after you have created the shipping
- Keep quality rating: 4 or higher
We strongly believe that these changes will allow you to be more satisfied with working for Xometry and will allow us to grow together.
We would also like to get your feedback.
