Measurements
➡️ Tight tolerances
Any dimension with a tolerance tighter than ISO 2768 medium
Any tolerances specified directly on the drawing should be included in the QC report
➡️ Bores and threads
Check every thread in the part
For small threads and holes (up to 8mm), use gauges where possible
Pay particular attention to the depth of blind holes and length of threads (both through and blind)
If there are no tight dimensions (e.g. tolerance grade 5/6/7), pick the 3-7 most critical (in your opinion) dimensions, add bubbles and fill in the table with records accordingly.
Surface
➡️ Roughness
➡️ Hardness
➡️ Marking (engraving)
➡️ Coating/other special finishing
If specified - always check!
Please check the information on markings: in production remarks AND on drawings
Special remarks
➡️ Every remark should be checked and confirmed
➡️ Just write OK/NOK for every remark
